Forum subscriptions and personal messages now provide better community experience on conceptispuzzles.com

Wednesday, July 30, 2008 Subscribe

Starting today, Conceptis registered members can be notified through e-mail whenever a new post is published in a conceptispuzzles.com forum or thread. Using the new subscription feature, an email notification with a link to the newly posted message is sent to the address configured in your user profile. Thus, new forum posts are just one click away providing better community experience and improving interaction between registered members. The email notification also contains the subject, author's username and time when the post was submitted.

Sounds good? To make your own subscriptions simply click the Subscribe icon located in the top right area of the forum or thread of your interest. You can also track forum and thread activities as well as manage and remove unnecessary subscriptions in My subscription, which is available from the forum menu at the top of the page.

Exchange private messages with other community members

Forum inbox

In addition to subscriptions, a new system allows you to exchange private messages (PM) with other community members. Private messages are stored in My Inbox which works just like an e-mail system limited to registered members on the site. With private messages you can send, read, create/edit/delete folders, move messages between folders and delete unwanted messages.

You can even send private messages to multiple recipients, all at once. This is done by listing the user names separated by commas in the recipient textbox or by checking the user name boxes in the address book and clicking Send Private Message. Members may disable the private message system in My profile or add other members in their block list. My profile also contains an option to Always save PM to sent folder, which means you don’t have to check the Save a copy to sent folder? box each time you send a private message.
