The Fascination of Number-Logic Puzzles published by GAMES World of Puzzles
Friday, September 21, 2007
GAMES World of Puzzles, a leading USA games and puzzles magazine, published a special number-logic section in the November issue. Titled The Fascination of Number-Logic Puzzles, the special section contains 38 new puzzles by Conceptis including Picture Sudoku, Sum Sudoku, Multi Sudoku, Shaped Kakuro, Hitori, Slitherlink and Hashi.
Along with the puzzles, World of Puzzles also included an introduction describing the fascination of number-logic puzzles. Written by Jochen Vetter, Conceptis’ Number-Logic Product Manager, the introduction describes which types of puzzles are collectively known as number-logic puzzles and tries to explain what makes them so fascinating, appealing and addictive.
The Fascination of Number-Logic Puzzles comes just one month after 30 new Pic-a-Pix (Paint-by-Numbers), Link-a-Pix (Paint-by-Pairs), Fill-a-Pix and Maze-a-Pix picture-logic puzzles were successfully published in September’s special bonus section.
“Our readers are continuously looking for new and interesting puzzles” says Jennifer Orehowsky, Senior Editor at GAMES World of Puzzles. “We knew that, as in previous years, the special bonus sections with number-logic and picture-logic puzzles by Conceptis will do just that.”
GAMES publications have been using Conceptis puzzles since 2000, including them in most issues of GAMES Magazine and GAMES World of Puzzles.
