According to many letters and comments sparked by the special issue that were sent to the Globe, the logic-based puzzles were favorites, but readers also love their Sudoku. “We wanted a special fun summer issue that our fans will hold onto for several weeks and this issue did that. The special issue was a great success” says Doug Most, editor of Boston Globe Sunday Magazine. “After receiving so many enthusiastic letters we are strongly considering doing another special puzzle issue next summer,” Most adds. The comments were very enthusiastic.
