A 100x75 Maze-a-Pix puzzle showing Rockefeller center’s Prometheus statue

Gold Rush, a new online reality show from reality-TV producer Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice), included a Conceptis Maze-a-Pix puzzle on the way to the $1,000,000 prize. The 100x75 puzzle showing Rockefeller center’s Prometheus statue was presented during one of the rounds leading up to the finale.

As seen on AOL and CBS-syndicated Entertainment Tonight show, Michael Kearney a child prodigy known for setting several world records and teaching college at the age of 17 walked away with the $1,000,000 grand prize in genuine gold bars.

Hosted by TV star Mark Steines (Entertainment Tonight), Gold Rush is a hybrid online reality game in which rounds of questions and puzzles are weekly featured on a dedicated website at AOL: www.AOL.com/goldrush .

User comments on Gold Rush website reported to be very positive. "I feel really good about this round, because whoever the top three are, they deserve to go. Unlike the chess challenge, this was not guessable” one of the show participants wrote. “I thought the maze was gorgeous... and I like that they combined trivia from the city of the week, gold, AND a puzzle".

According to Gold Rush Challenge Department the Maze-a-Pix puzzle provided by Conceptis was “an amazing final round challenge for Gold Rush. It was immersive, entertaining and a uniquely rewarding experience for our players.”
