Weekly magazine with Conceptis Sudoku launched in Greece by Periodikos TyposThursday, December 1, 2005
Kouiz Sudoku, a weekly magazine containing Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis, was launched by Periodikos Typos S.A. in Greece in November 2005. Each issue contains 84 puzzles including MiniSudoku, MegaSudoku, DiagonalSudoku and IrregularSudoku for extra challenge and fun. Sized 15x23 cm Kouiz Sudoku is available in Greece and Cyprus at €1 per copy. The weekly publication of Kouiz Sudoku joins Grifoi Su Doku (Γρίφοι Su Doku), a new monthly magazine containing Conceptis Sudoku also released by the company in November 2005. Grifoi Su Doku is a larger format 18x25 cm magazine containing 155 Conceptis Sudoku puzzles of varying difficulty levels as well as six PAP (Pic-a-Pix) bonus puzzles. Grifoi Su Doku is available in Greece and Cyprus at € 3 per copy. According to Telemachos Katopothis, Editor of Periodikos Typos S.A., the decision to publish Kouiz Sudoku and Grifoi Su Doku was influenced by the flood of Sudoku puzzles in Greece after all major newspapers reported extensively about the puzzle. “We first published two small 32-page magazines, which were given free to the readers of our two popular weekly puzzle magazines” says Katopothis. “The response encouraged us to release two dedicated Sudoku magazines”. Conceptis Sudoku , launched at the beginning of September 2005 provides a different and unique experience compared to most other Sudoku puzzles on the market today. Periodikos Typos is the leading puzzle magazine publisher in Greece and has been Conceptis’ publisher since June 2005.
