Greek Conceptis puzzles magazine launched by Periodikos Typos S.A.s

Periodikos Typos S.A., the leading puzzle magazine publisher in Greece, launched καρέ (Kare) - a monthly logic puzzle publication dedicated to an assortment of picture forming logic puzzles from Conceptis. kαρέ was launched in June 2005 after successfully including puzzles from Conceptis in a few of the company’s puzzle magazines.

καρέ contains a mix of 57 PAP (Pic-a-Pix), FAP (Fill-a-Pix), LAP (Link-a-Pix) and MAP (Maze-a-Pix) puzzles with a large range of sizes and difficulty levels. Sized 18x25 cm and priced at 3.00 Euros, each καρέ issue also includes a l arge PAP 60x35 centerfold, two color PAP on the back cover and a PAP portrait puzzle of a famous Greek person such as Mikis Theodorakis and Maria Callas.

Both καρέ and Κουίζ (Quiz) September issues came bundled with καρέ SuDoku , a free magazine sample containing 28 Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis . According Telemachos Katopothis , editor of Periodikos Typos, the feedback on the free magazines will help decide what to do in the future.

Other magazines from Periodikos Typos containing Conceptis puzzles are Προβλήματα Λογικής (Provlimata Logikis), published bimonthly with every issue containing eight puzzle pages from Conceptis, as well as Γρίφος (Grifos) and Κουίζ (Quiz) – both published weekly with every issue containing four pages with Conceptis puzzles.

Periodikos Typos S.A. also publishes many more magazine titles targeted at various market segments. Amongst these publications are 23 popular puzzle titles published on a weekly, monthly, bimonthly and quarterly basis. Altogether, Periodikos Typos’ puzzle titles have high circulations and account for approximately 70% of the Greek puzzle magazine market.
