G-mode releases FAP puzzles for KDDI AU mobile phone subscripbers in JapanThursday, May 1, 2003
The first volume of Conceptis' FAP (Fill-a-Pix) puzzles, locally branded as Nurie Puzzles, is now available for KDDI AU mobile phone subscribers in Japan. Launched by G-mode on May 25, the first volume contains 10 Nurie Puzzles, which can be accessed from the Tetris & 100 Yen Games mobile portal. The KDDI AU release follows the earlier Nurie Puzzles release for NTT DoCoMo i-mode mobile phones, which took place in March this year. According to G-mode marketing department, since their introduction in March, Nurie Puzzles have become a very popular mobile game in Japan with more than 24,000 downloads in March and more than 38,000 downloads in April. In response to their growing popularity, G-mode also released additional Nurie Puzzle packages for NTT DoCoMo mobile phones in their Get Pettit Appli mini-games portal. In addition, three mobile games from other content providers were added to the Tetris & 100 Yen Games mobile portal for KDDI AU mobile phone subscribers. These games include Chess! Doka-Doka Battle by G-mode, Oekaki Logic by Sumire Kobo, and Sudoku by NIKOLLI. With that, there are currently 103 different downloadable games on this cutting-edge mobile portal. Related resources |
