Green with Van Gogh quilt, 102x138 cm

Sylvia Green (72) recently found out that Conceptis puzzle designs could also be used for quilting. After solving more than one thousand Conceptis puzzles, Sylvia Green, an avid reader, puzzler and handcrafter decided to use Conceptis puzzle designs for quilts. She quickly discovered they are perfect for this purpose, and soon after the world's first puzzle-design based quilt was born! Now her husband, Len Green (77), is jealous of all the quilts she makes for her grandchildren so he's solving Conceptis puzzles too...

Born in London in 1930, Sylvia Green has solved thousands of crossword puzzles in the past 50 years. But all this changed seven years ago when she tried the first puzzle from Conceptis. "I stopped solving crossword puzzles" she says "because I became completely addicted to Conceptis puzzles. It was love at first sight. And now if I don't have a pile of Conceptis puzzles waiting to be solved, I panic!! I've solved well over one thousand Conceptis puzzles till today and simply can't stop. I don't know what I would do without them!"

Like many other grandmothers, Green is a prodigious hobbyist and handcrafter with works ranging from sewing, quilting and patchwork to acrylic and oil paintings. "Now I'm starting to work on my next project", she announces, "Applying Conceptis puzzle designs to needlepoint tapestries."
