Ediciones Pléyades launched Puzle Japonés - a new monthly magazine containing an assortment of all Conceptis logic puzzle types. The new magazine is priced at 1,60 € in Spain or 21,64 € for a one year international subscription.

The first Puzle Japonés issue was published on April 4, 2005 and provided as a free gift for buyers of Quiz Extra – the flagship magazine of Ediciones Pléyades. Since May 2005, Puzle Japonés is available on newsstands everywhere throughout Spain. The new magazine will also be available in Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay starting from the second half of 2005.

As the Spanish market for logic puzzles continues to develop, so does the appetite of the Spanish solvers. Puzle Japonés is a 52 page 17x24 cm magazine packed with a mixture of PAP, FAP, LAP and MAP logic puzzles of various sizes, from 15x15 to 60x35. Some of the PAP and LAP puzzles are also available in color.

According to José Angel Ezcurra García, Director of IT at Ediciones Pléyades S.A., the company’s decision to launch Puzle Japonés "was influenced by the growing demand in Spain for this type of dedicated magazines".

Along with the launching of the new Puzle Japonés magazine, Ediciones Pléyades also completed the Spanish branding of all Conceptis puzzles available until now. PAP has been branded as Puzle Japonés (Japanese Puzzle in English), LAP as Dibujo Con Caminos (Drawing with Paths), FAP as Cuenta Y Sombrea (Tally and Shade) and LAP as Laberinto (Maze).

Ediciones Pléyades was founded in 1973 and has continuously grown to become Spain's leading puzzle magazine publisher. The company has been publishing Conceptis Puzzles every week Since June 2001.
