Leading Philippine publisher launches magazine series based on Conceptis SudokuThursday, March 29, 2007
Sudoku Samurai Easy: the first series item dedicated to easy Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis Summit Media Co., the leading magazine publisher in the Philippines, joins Conceptis partners and the worldwide Sudoku craze. Named Sudoku Samurai, the new magazine series launched in January this year is already reporting good sales in local bookstores, newsstands, magazine shops, supermarkets and department stores across the Philippines. The Sudoku Samurai series includes three titles, Sudoku Samurai Easy, Sudoku Samurai Intermediate and Sudoku Samurai Expert, each containing over 100 Classic Sudoku puzzles from Conceptis in the appropriate difficulty levels. In addition, each Sudoku Samurai issue also includes several Sudoku variants such as Diagonal Sudoku, OddEven Sudoku and Multi Sudoku. Sudoku Samurai magazines are priced at Php 85 ($1.77) and published every two months. Each of the 68 page large format 5.75 x 8.25 inch magazines also contains a special Sudoku Samurai Challenge wherein solvers get a chance to win a Php 10,000 ($200) prize. Summit Media Co. launched its first magazine, Preview, in June 1995. Today Summit Media Co. is the leading consumer magazine publisher in the Philippines in both number of titles and circulation per category.
