Gakken, Japan's leading educational book publisher, in cooperation with Sharp Space Town, a cell phone content provider have recently launched Conceptis LAP puzzles to their Japanese consumers. Locally branded as Pict-Link, these puzzles are now available in Space Town's Puzzle Paradise section as well as in Gakken's Logic Paradise magazines.

Initial Pict-Link cell phone services started in July 2002 and targeted on users J-phone - the very popular cell phones know for their built in cameras.

On November 2002, encouraged by the Pict-Link success on J-phone, Gakken and Sharp had launched another new service for the popular NTT DoCoMo iMode cell phones, and are planning to do the same for KDDI Au cell phones early 2003.

Known to everyone in Japan from their school days, Gakken is also a leading publisher of crosswords, logic, and other puzzle magazines. In May 2002, Gakken started publishing Conceptis' Link-a-Pix puzzles in My Crosswords magazine under the brand name Pict-Link.
