Malaysian online game developer brings Conceptis’ logic puzzles to Southeast Asia

Malaysian game development company River Walk Multimedia Sdn Bhd announced a strategic partnership with Conceptis Japan Co., Ltd. to provide various picture-logic and number-logic puzzles online in Southeast Asia. Online puzzle games will be powered by the CF-code81 game engine developed by River Walk Multimedia and running on the new Microsoft Silverlight interactive media platform.

River Walk Multimedia develops various game engines and contents for the online game market in Southeast Asia (SEA). “We are thrilled to partner with Conceptis in bringing the hottest puzzle game titles to puzzle fans in this high growth region" stated Marcus Sua, CEO of River Walk Multimedia. Sua further added that with this strategic partnership will thus complement both companies in the years to come.

Southeast Asia: 56 million Internet users, 12.5 million gamers

According to Chie Fujisaki, Managing Director of Conceptis Japan, the partnership with River Walk Multimedia is a gateway for Conceptis to showcase its crème de la crème puzzle content to online gamers in the Southeast Asia region. “We trust with both Conceptis' world acclaimed content and River Walk’s expertise, will thus redefine the landscape of puzzle game in Southeast Asia,” said Fujisaki.

Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing online games markets in the world with a total population of 580 million. According to market survey by IDC (Economist Intelligence Unit, Internet World Stats report), there are approximately 56 million Internet users in Southeast Asia and approximately 12.5 million are regular online gamers in 2006.
