East-Lines LLC launches first Conceptis logic puzzles magazine in Ukraine

The first Conceptis picture logic puzzles magazine as well as 250 additional logic puzzles in mixed magazines are now available each month in Ukraine from East-Lines LLC. East-Lines LLC has been Conceptis’ publisher in Ukraine since October 2007.

Titled Graficheskiye golovolomki, the new large format magazine contains a mix of 37 Pic-a-Pix, Link-a-Pix, Fill-a-Pix, Maze-a-Pix and Dot-a-Pix puzzles and is available in bookstores and newsstands in Ukraine since January 28. Other regular publications such as Boom skanvordov, Raduga skanvordov, Golovolomki offer hundreds of additional number logic and picture logic puzzles by Conceptis each month.

The most important considerations for periodical press

East-Lines LLC, founded in Donetsk in 1993, is a 20 person magazine publisher specializing in puzzle and culinary magazines for the Ukrainian market. In addition to Graficheskiye golovolomki, East-Lines LLC is publishing ten other crosswords, scanwords and culinary magazines.

“Having analyzed the market we discovered that in Ukraine there are practically no editions fully devoted to logic puzzles” says Andriy Lobachov, president of East-Lines LLC. “We started by including Sudoku and Pic-a-Pix, known in Ukraine as Japanese scanwords, in existing publications which resulted with positive feedback letters from our readers. Soon after we decided to publish magazines dedicated to logic puzzles, studied the market, and realized that the most suitable partner is Conceptis. The range and quality of the puzzles, convenience for publishing and constant puzzle developments are the most important considerations for periodical press”.
