Friday, December 28, 2007 Nonogramm

Nonogramm, the first German-speaking magazine dedicated entirely to Conceptis Picture Logic puzzles, was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by Raetsel Agentur Schweiz on December 6, 2007. Following the success of Mix Sudoku, Nonogramm is the second magazine in Das Auge (The Eye) series targeted at puzzle fans looking for more-satisfying puzzles than Sudoku.

The medium format 36-page magazine contains 60 Pic-a-Pix as well as 5 Link-a-Pix and 4 Fill-a-Pix puzzles, all available in easy and medium difficulty levels. Nonogramm is published every two months and is available in most newsstands and bookstores in Germany and Austria for 2.70 Euros and in Switzerland for 4.20 CHF. Subscriptions to Nonogramm are also possible from www.internationale-presse.com

Nonogramm is Rätsel Agentur’s 11th Conceptis puzzles magazine for the German speaking countries. Previous magazines by Rätsel Agentur include Mix Sudoku, Kinder Sudoku, Taschen Bimaru, Mein Kakuro, Profi Sudoku, Kniffel Sudoku, Taschen Sudoku, Taschen Kakuro, Mein Sudoku and Blick Sudoku which was released by early 2006.

“We received a lot of good response in Germany for Mix Sudoku, and especially for the Nonogramm (Pic-a-Pix) puzzles it contains” says Thomas Küng, president of Rätsel Agentur Schweiz. “The new Nonogramm magazine was promoted on the back cover of Mix Sudoku and people wrote they would like to subscribe before even seeing the first issue”.

"I'm happy Rätsel Agentur decided to launch Nonogramm” adds Gil Galanti, Conceptis Marketing Manager and a big believer in Picture Logic puzzles. “The last two years we saw a strong market focus on Sudoku but now is the time to start something new. Logic puzzles like Nonogramm which create pictures when solved could be exactly what a lot of people have been waiting for."
