Connect-the-Dots in USA and Canada: Two Color Dot-a-Pix books released by Sterling PublishingTuesday, November 4, 2008
Two books containing over 80 Color Dot-a-Pix puzzles each have been released by Sterling Publishing Co. Titled Dot Mania: Extreme Connect-the-Dots Puzzles and Dots!: Super Connect-the-Dots Puzzles, the two books come bundled with a 6 color pencil set and are available in book stores across North America and from popular online shops. Dot Mania and Dots! are probably the only color connect-the-dots books in the world. Although intended for kids, many adults will enjoy these puzzles just as much through the accomplishment of drawing detailed and colorful pictures. B&W, Color and MultilineLaunched in November 2006, Conceptis Dot-a-Pix are high quality dot-to-dot puzzles which provide high resolution pictures through the use of hundreds, or even a thousand dots. Dot-a-Pix are available in three variants of B&W, Color and Multiline where lines are occasionally terminated with a star and resumed elsewhere in the picture. As previously announced by Conceptis, the first Dot-a-Pix publication was Puntos Locos by Grupo Editorial Adria in Colombia which combined the puzzles with an original English teaching concept for Spanish kids. "We hope the new books by Sterling Publishing will encourage publishers to use Dot-a-Pix puzzles in their magazines" says Dave Green, president of Conceptis.
