Expert Sudoku magazine aimed at the new Sudoku buffs generation launched in Greece

Expert Sudoku (Greek: ΕΞΠΕΡ SUDOKU), a monthly magazine consisting of hard Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis with an innovative concept of solution flows, was launched by Periodikos Typos S.A. in Greece. To help solvers having difficulties during the solving process, each Expert Sudoku puzzle comes with a complete step-by-step textual description explaining how the puzzle is solved from beginning to end.

Expert Sudoku is a 100 page 14.5X20 cm medium format magazine containing 64 medium plus, hard and very hard Classic Sudoku puzzles. Released on July 10, Expert Sudoku is available in Greece and Cyprus at € 3 per copy.

Mostly hard and very hard puzzles

According to Telemachos Katopothis, Editor of Periodikos Typos S.A., the step-by-step solution flow idea came from readers soon after Quiz Sudoku and Grifos Sudoku were published in November 2005. “Expert Sudoku contains mostly hard and very hard puzzles so we decided to provide readable step-by-step solutions to help solvers who may get stuck” says Katopothis. “We are now waiting to hear what our readers say about this feature and how it will affect the sales of this magazine.”

Periodikos Typos, the leading puzzle magazine publisher in Greece, has been Conceptis’ exclusive publisher since 2005. The company’s puzzle titles have high circulations and account for approximately 70% of the Greek puzzle magazine market.
