Sudoku magazine with Conceptis puzzles launched in Finland by Sanoma Magazines

Sudoku Ristikot, a new magazine containing Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis, has been launched by Sanoma Magazines in Finland on November 15.

Issued on a monthly basis and priced at 2.90 Euros per copy, Sudoku Ristikot is a 32 page 17x25cm magazine containing 46 Conceptis Sudoku puzzles and solutions. Difficulty levels range from very easy to very hard.

Sanoma Magazines has taken special promotion actions to support the marketing efforts of the new magazine. Thus, Sudoku newsstand promotion kits, consisting of a newsletter, poster and cardboard to be placed behind Sudoku Ristikot magazines, have been produced and delivered to all newsstands in Finland along with the first issue.

According to Sari Huuskonen, Editor-In-Chief of Sanoma’s crossword magazines, Sudoku Ristikot will also be published in a jumbo format several times a year starting December 27, 2005. Titled Iso Sudoku Ristikot, the large 21x30 cm format issues will contain puzzles of various sizes, formats and difficulty levels.

“We decided to launch Sudoku Ristikot following the international Sudoku boom and the starting interest in newspapers in Finland” says Huuskonen and adds - “We chose Conceptis Puzzles based on good cooperation and relationship with Japanese puzzles”.
