Mein-Sudoku, a new bi-monthly magazine dedicated to Sudoku puzzles by Conceptis, has been launched in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on February 9. Mein-Sudoku follows the already successful Blick-Sudoku magazine, which was released by Rätsel Agentur on January 24 this year.

In addition to Mein-Sudoku and Blick-Sudoku, the company plans to launch Taschen-Kakuro as well as other magazines with Conceptis puzzles later on this year.

Blick, the most popular Swiss daily newspaper, exclusively sources daily crossword and Sudoku puzzles from Rätsel Agentur. The Blick brand name has made Blick-Sudoku an instant success, with first issue magazines selling out in less than two weeks.

Mein-Sudoku is a 52 page 20x24 cm medium format magazine targeted at Sudoku puzzle lovers who are looking for more challenge, excitement and fun. Each Mein-Sudoku issue contains 88 ClassicSudoku puzzles as well as a full range of variants including MiniSudoku, MegaSudoku, MultiSudoku, DiagonalSudoku, IrregularSudoku, SumSudoku and Odd/EvenSudoku. Altogether, the bi-monthly Mein-Sudoku magazine contains 149 puzzles and is priced at 2.50 Euros in Germany, 2.70 Euros in Austria, and 4.50 CHF in Switzerland.

Blick-Sudoku is a 52 page 14x21 cm medium format magazine containing 84 ClassicSudoku 9x9 puzzles as well as several MiniSudoku 4x4 and 6x6 for beginners. Blick-Sudoku is published every month and is priced at 2.40 Euros in Germany and Austria, and 3.50 CHF in Switzerland.

"Sudoku opens the door for many other language independent puzzles and riddles” says Thomas Küng, president of Rätsel Agentur, “Rätsel Agentur sees a great potential in Conceptis Puzzles.”

“This is an important step because it is the first dedicated Conceptis puzzles magazine to be published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland” says Dave Green, president of Conceptis puzzles. “The German speaking countries are a big market for logic puzzles, and we are confident Conceptis puzzles magazines by Rätsel Agentur will become very popular and successful”.
