Conceptis and MVS announce exclusive affiliation agreementFriday, September 22, 2006Conceptis Ltd., the leading logic puzzle supplier to publishers worldwide, and Mountain Vista Software (MVS), a prominent Battleship puzzles software developer since 1997, announced an exclusive affiliation agreement between the two companies. According to the agreement, the two companies will join forces to provide the puzzle community with high-quality Battleship puzzles. Following this agreement Moshe Rubin, founder of MVS and former contributing editor of the Battleships column in Games and Games World of Puzzles Magazines, has joined the Conceptis team. “Conceptis is proud to have Moshe on board and welcomes him as head of Conceptis Battleships unit” says Dave Green, president of Conceptis. “I am confident this new cooperation will maximize the Battleships commercial business worldwide”. “MVS is pleased to join its proven excellence in Battleship puzzles with Conceptis, the world’s leading supplier of logic puzzles” says Moshe Rubin, founder of Mountain Vista Software. “I believe the strategic alliance between the companies will promote this enjoyable puzzle genre around the world.” According to the exclusive agreement between Conceptis and MVS, Battleship puzzles will be promoted, marketed, trade named and sold as Conceptis puzzles while MVS will be responsible for puzzle manufacturing as well as continuation of Battleships variants development. Battleship puzzles have become available on Conceptis’ website and in the Free Weekly Puzzles section since August 9, 2006 and already gain success with Conceptis publishers around the world. Sterling Publishing has announced the September release of YUBOTU, a dedicated book containing 180 Battleship puzzles from Conceptis. In addition, Bauer Russia, Egmont Sweden, Egmont Norway and several other publishers are already including Conceptis Battleships in their publications.
