# Block-a-Pix rules

Block-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-composed pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, these puzzles offer the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.

Block-a-Pix is a block-filling puzzle based on a grid with a pixel-art picture hidden inside. Using logic alone, the solver determines how the grid is divided into blocks and how the blocks are filled with color until the hidden picture is completely exposed.

Block-a-Pix puzzles come in B&W and in color, and are available in many sizes and difficulty levels taking anything from five minutes to several hours to solve. However, make one mistake and you'll find yourself stuck later on as you get closer to the solution...

## B&W Block-a-Pix

Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by dividing the whole area of the grid into rectangular blocks so that each block contains one clue, the number of squares in the block equals to the value of the clue, and the filling color of the block is according to the clue.
