Hello,
Came across another puzzle I couldn't solve. This one is from the Android application as well, "hard" #26.
For this one,the bottom rows seemed to be the key to advancing further, but I noticed that I still got stuck even with them solved. What is the next step in solving this puzzle? Thanks

Any chance that we can get the starting position of this? I can see a possible next step, but would really like to see what the beginning conditions were, first. IOW, a color screenshot would be very useful.

Thanks for your reply. Getting the starting position would require me to restart the puzzle, which I could, but I initially thought I might end up stuck in a different one later (but now that I think about it I could just retrace my steps) . The reason I saved the screenshot as monochrome was that the forum limits the allowed file size for attachments to 200KB which is pretty low. If this square near the middle were an 'X', the rest of the row would be filled with 'OXO', leading to problems in the row below it.

Thanks, that was it! I didn't think to check if solving the row in a certain way would affect another one close to it like that. That was enough for me to solve the puzzle.
