I changed the .EMAIL extension to .EML and double clicked on the file. The puzzle displayed successfully and cleanly as a proper email message using Outlook Express.

A newly cumulative file for Nonograms - 1 (A-M) has just been uploaded to esnips. Included are the first 90 puzzles (numbers 31 - 40 are not nongrams but some other type of games) on the cw.kulichki.com which were converted, edited and titled by Cyclone plus the first 30 conversions on the abs.kulichki.com puzzles. It appears that the abs puzzles are kulichki's own which they validated and therefore provided solutions too but the cw puzzles are similar to PBN being provided by various users or members and not necessarily valid. Cyclone did the work for them on the first 90. If I am not mistaken however KULC-0099 is still not valid so I have kept it apart in the parent folder as I intend to do with any other invalid puzzles I come accross as I convert them.

Happy solving

A new file for Nonograms - 2 (O-S) has just been uploaded to esnips. Included are the PicPuz conversions for almost all of the OM set. There are a few of the largest ones that I could not read the scans properly and have left in the parent folder until whoever has the original magazine corrects them.

Happy solving

Thank you Isaac very much for your uplifting criticism.
There is nothing wrong with the scans. They can be zoomed to 200% and the numbers are totally visible. They could be zoomed further but there is no need for more.
Puzzle 2 had two typos and the width of 33 is 80, not 90.
You probably are having the same problem with 34.
I have scanned them with a large overlap, over 5 columns, to be totally sure everything is seen.
Erasing 10 columns did not however help. There is still inconsistency between rows and columns. It is almost midnight and I don't have the energy to correct it tonight.
I'll send you the corrected puzzles 2 and 33 as well as the solution to 29b tomorrow, but I am not going to convert 34.
Solving / printing these puzzles with PicPuz is not even in my interests. The most enjoyable way of solving these puzzles is to print the parts in separate papers and glue them together.
These puzzles I have even solved and they are fabulous. Number 33 taught me a lesson of history.

I always see the message that you are uploading new content to your esnips folder but I can never find it. Is there another page other than the only link for Isaac in this topic?

Please let me know if there is a shortcut I am missing.

Thanks,
Steph

I am now converting the scans for the SR block of puzzles. It appears that the scan for SR-2004-05-11 is missing the last column on the right. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could provide it.

Thanks

Two new files for the Nonogram collection have just been uploaded to esnips. As the PicPuz conversions progress the size of these files will probably be cut down another 50%.

Two new files for the Nonogram collection have just been uploaded to esnips.

While working on the PicPuz conversions I have discovered that Plala Logic are the same puzzles as Round Close using the same numbers. Since Round close is the larger collection an includes everything in Plala Logic I have deleted the Plala Logic files.
