Leena, I checked the folders that I have invitations to and can't seem to find the right folder for the 7+ colors. I either haven't been invited or I'm just blind. Could you send an invitation or directions to the folder please? Tina

Yes, I'm on the Illustrologic set now. They have a lot of colour puzzles, and I personally test-solved 2-6 (7a and 7b still for when I have online puzzling time), but I'm taking a break for a couple of days from converting. The two megas are coming up a few puzzles away, then I have some much smaller 30x30 to do before a few more 40x50 or so to finish up. I'll be posting the set this weekend if all goes according to plan. Cyclone

Leena has most all the puzzles (pdf and PicPuz versions) at http://esnips.com/web/PuzzleArchive and I have this year's weekly review puzzles converted at http://esnips.com/web/WeeklyReview but check our profiles to see other files we may have and other member's folders that may be related. Tina

It's me again and I have some news for you. I finished a new version of PicPuz today. Don't be too astonished about the new build number. It promoted from 64 to 125 in all my tests of the new and andvanced features. You can find it in the first post of this thread or you can click this link: PicPuz 0.99 Build 125 Here is a short brief of changes since the former build 64: Changes in 0.99 Build 125 ------------------------- x All literal text resources are replaced by a resource file for better localization x Added text resources for english and german to resource file x Some Microsoft Keyboards have "Zoom Sliders". This functionality can be simulated by scrolling the Mouse Wheel while holding the control key. And now this is also supported by PicPuz. * Fixed some datum problems with Web Loader * Fixed wrong counting of errors in Web Loader occuring while repeatingly trying to load erroneous puzzles * FAPs in FP (simple) format were saved incorrectly (width and height of puzzle were twisted) x PicPuz now fully supports XP Styles! ! For XP-Style support another Toolbar is being used that doesn't shows a separator line any more, no simple workaround :( # Made some improvements to Directory Chooser in WebLoader * Opening puzzles from shell now much better (previously run instance is being used instead of new one resulting in a bunch of PicPuz's) * Right click on a color chooser in PAP puzzles lets you change the color of the selected index to an arbitrary value (be careful! ;-)) Legend: x New Feature # Changed/Improved Feature * Bugfix ! Known Issue (not fixed) If there are some guys who think my english was terrible or who want to use PicPuz in his own language, which is not supported so far - feel free to contact me (see my profile or address in PicPuz's info dialog) for information on how to localize PicPuz. On the other hand: If you encounter any problems about the language resources PicPuz uses, let me know (best per mail also) and I'll see whether we can fix it...

That depends on the version you have installed. Any current version 0.99 with a build number of 60 or greater need not to be uninstalled. Any version up to and including 0.99 build 59 have to be uninstalled before installing the new one. (The reason is that since build 60/61 I use another setup tool that isn't able to uninstall/upgrade versions installed with the older setup routine.) Neither uninstall deletes your subsequently downloaded puzzles. (I suppose ;-)) Ah, I forgot to mention: The setup itself doesn't support other languages than english, yet. So don't be confused. German resources in the program itself should be automatically used on systems with german localization settings.

Thank you so much for the very nice program! I downloaded it today and already love it! I do though have a problem with the image converter. First I selected a bitmap picture in my files, and gave a different name with a .non extension. Then I give a name for the puzzle (with or without extension, the result is the same), but the following error message pops in: "Puzzle name.non is no valid puzzle file." Does anybody know how to correctly convert a picture? Thanks a lot.
