I really wanted to try them myself as slitherlink is one of my favs.
But i couldn't find the interactive version.

Look in the article about it and all the slitherlink-puzzles, but they only print for me.
Can someone please post a link to them?

Fishbone, empty your cache. Someone mentioned that the text said print, but the game opened.
For me even the text says play.

All the slitherlinks are playable now, both on the Home page and My Conceptis section.

I'm glad there are interactive slitherlink puzzles!  But would it be possible to add a function that all the other slitherlink sites have: the ability to shade a square to show if it is inside or outside the loop?

While that is handy (And allows for a new type of solving technique) of all the online slitherlink sites I've seen, only one had that feature.

What I would like to see more would be a "ghost" path for unmarked paths.  Something lighter than the path line, but still visible.

Incedentally, there is a technique that allows some of the shading solution techniques to be used without shading.  If you start anywhere on the board and move through a path back to that point (Or outside the board to outside the board) you should cross an even number of paths.  If you cross an odd number, and you only crossed over one undetermined line, that undetermined line is part of the path.  Similarly, if you cross an even number and there is only one determined line then that line is not part of the path.

I've used that technique before, and it really is helpful most of the time.  Maybe I've been spoiled by the Japanese sites - the puzzles there are often enormous, and the shading function is essential to save yourself from mis-counting the lines.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for the suggestions and ideas. By the way, do you find the highlight link segment feature useful?

Thanks, Dave

It can be yes.  Sometimes for really long links it's hard to visually follow where the whole thing is.

My biggest two complaints (And to be honest, the reason that the Conceptis solver still isn't my favorite for slitherlink type puzzles) is the lack of shading for cells, and the blank/X marking style which does a very poor job of visually conveying what options are still available for the link.

(My current favorite is Simon Tatham's Loopy.  While it doesn't have the shading, it does a good job visually conveying the options, and I've recently become fascinated with some of the non-square based puzzles.)

I found it rather annoying that usually it's a double-click to mark an x, but sometimes it tries to help you by marking an x on the first click, if there are already 2 lines coming into that point. My fingers just want to always do a double-click, but in this case the second click unmarks the x again!

Of course it would be easier if one could use the right mouse button to mark x's, but I understand that's difficult (if not impossible) to do in Flash applications.
