Is anyone else having problems moving puzzles from side to side? Or is it just my computer? Or my internet connection?

Can't solve the right hand side of larger puzzles as I can't scroll over to them, and sometimes I can't scroll down to the bottom either.

Actually, I can't use scroll bars at all. The only reason I can scroll down is the scroll wheel on my mouse.

I use Google Chrome, Windows 7, Flashplayer 12,0,0,41 installed. I've got this set to email me with any replies, so if you need more info from me, please reply.

I'm having scrolling problems as well using Chrome on my laptop. I've noticed similar issues lately in PDF files viewed in Chrome. It may be a Chrome issue. Basic scroll bars have changed in the latest Chrome version as well, losing the arrows that let you move up and down one line at a time. I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with scrolling in Flash though.

I tried a puzzle on my desktop computer with similar software and it scrolled with no problem, even though Chrome's scroll bars are missing the arrows there too.

I am thinking now that it is an issue with chrome...I also have internet explorer on my computer and have no issues using that browser.

I am going to contact google and let them know about this issue, which started last night for me.

Was that when it started for you as well, sfglbkf?

And thanks for the info...it confirmed what I suspected.

I noticed the issue in the puzzles today. I think the PDF issue first showed up yesterday. I don't think I did any puzzles yesterday that needed scrolling.

El problema es de Chrome. Usando otro navegador (en el mismo notebook) pude jugar sin problemas.

I'm having exactly the same problem on Google Chrome. When I switched to IE everything worked! Sent a report to Google Chrome but heard nothing back! Very annoying as IE is so slow.

I am having the same problem. Click on the side scroll bar, it gets selected. Now keep the mouse positioned on the side scroll bar and scroll with the mouse scroll the puzzles shifts from side to side.

I will try internet explorer. I also use chrome.

I've had this problem for the last couple weeks. I updated Chrome (under About Chrome in the menu) today and that took care of the issue for me.

Has anyone else found updating Chrome fixes the problem?

Thanks, Dave

I have my chrome settings to auto update...went and checked if I was up to date, yes. Logged in here, everything's working fine again. I guess enough people reported problems and Google fixed it. Yay!!!

Interesting that others are fixing bugs by updating Chrome. I've had the opposite experience: like many other Chrome users, the latest update (v. 32.xxx) breaks Flash for me (Win 7 64-bit). I had to roll back to v.31 and block updates in order to get my Conceptis puzzles to work again. Lots of discussion on other fora about v. 32 and Flash issues.

My current problem is that I cannot zoom out far enough in Kakuro to make it possible to see the potential number combinations below the lower edge of the puzzle when I am working upper cells. I don't mind doing the math for shorter runs, but keeping track of legal integers for, say the number 44 in seven cells is tedious. To me this is a logic puzzle, not an algebraic one.
