Hi Arik

In row 17 from the top (3,6,1,1) there are two unfinished filled squares. The one on the right cannot be part of the 3 and therefore must be part of the 6.

Thanks, Dave

Yes, I saw this - but how does it help me? the 6 can extend from the right one fully (or partially) to the right, or fully (or partially)to the left (connecting to the left one0, so what do I learn from it?

...so I managed to find a dot in (counting from top-left) R24C5, which also added a filled block in R24C24, and later found another filled block in R21C4 (marked all in Purple circles), but none of them gives me more progress...

??? any ideas ???

Arik

Hi Arik

It helps you by placing 4 dots on the right end of row 17 (fully extending the 6 to the right). From what I saw, there are several more vertical steps you can take after that.

Thanks, Dave

Suggestions, anyone?

based on what I see here, try filling in Row 8, Col 18. It looks like it's part of the 5 in the 5,2 combo.
