Does anyone have a master list or index of the e-snip accounts offered by different participants. The reason I ask is my hard-drive crashed and I lost all of my puzzles. There was a gal that had a lot of Japanese puzzles (pap's). I remember one had about 300 puzzles and another had like 164 or 184 puzzles. On each puzzle page, the puzzle # was preceded by the word "round".

On a different note, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the e-snip puzzle providers. Maybe other people can offer their opinion in this matter. Many of the puzzles have a title, like, "kangaroo" or "boat" or "bridge". For me, this causes me to pass over solving them, because half the fun is figuring out what the picture is during the actual solving. What do y'all think on this matter?

Thanks for any and all help.

Hi Nancy
The puzzles can be found in
http://www.esnips.com/web/WeeklyReview
http://www.esnips.com/web/EasterEggsforPicPuz
http://www.esnips.com/web/PuzzleSolutions
http://www.esnips.com/web/PicPuzWeeklies
http://www.esnips.com/web/PuzzleArchive
These are the ones containing Conceptis free puzzles and according to the Puzzle sharing policy are allowed to mention here.
These also do not have the puzzle names unless for some puzzles which never had a number.
Tina or I have never changed the filename provided by Conceptis.

Hi Nancy

I don't like knowing what the puzzles are before I solve them, either!

Since I solve only printed puzzles, what I usually do IF the puzzle name is not a number, is cover over the name after I have printed. (Or have someone else do it for me.) Since I usually print more than one puzzle at a time, I try to mix up the "named" puzzles with the numbered puzzles, and then I can still be "surprised".

And I don't usually solve all the puzzles I print the day I print them, so this usually works out OK for me. I can usually "forget" any titles I saw. And, as silly as it sounds, I try not to "read" the titles as I print them!

Another suggestion would be to rename the puzzles yourself somehow, so you wouldn't see the name when you go to print - of course that is not an elegant solution, because then you wouldn't know if you had duplicates if you randomly renamed the "already named" puzzles something like "puzzle01", "puzzle02", etc.

BTW - interesting email address!

sharonella, anytime I convert puzzles, I remove the names. When I converted my issue if Tsunami 24 to PicPuz (nope, can't share it here, sorry), I actually saved them without names so that, when printed from PicPuz, I didn't know what they were and could solve happily.

I'm only now solving that issue. I'm up to puzzle 35, I think - a 20x30 puzzle.

Good question! If you have a magazine you wish to convert and share privately with someone, you are welcome to do so - privately. However, you cannot share it here within the forums.

In respect of the sharing policy, I won't be sharing the issue either.
