Boodle -> Help needed on Kakuro puzzle (2/9/2014 4:44:59 PM) Without using trial and error, what should be the next step in this kakuro puzzle? [image]local://104391/20BCAF9C45CD48C9A3F67D461AB47FFB.JPG[/image]

summerwynne -> RE: Help needed on Kakuro puzzle (2/10/2014 9:25:16 AM) Wouldn't the 8 go @ the bottom square under the 17 since no other square has an 8 in that bottom row?

FaeryWings -> RE: Help needed on Kakuro puzzle (2/10/2014 10:48:43 AM) Summerwynnne has it. 9 won't work because the smallest total you could get would be 31. And you can also eliminate 6's from that row.

Boodle -> RE: Help needed on Kakuro puzzle (2/10/2014 8:04:46 PM) If the bottom square under 17 was 9, and the other six squares in that row were 1-6, that would total 9 + 21 = 30.

kysuebr -> RE: Help needed on Kakuro puzzle (2/10/2014 11:59:11 PM) In the left-most column, with 4/6/7 as the possibilities for the top square, the possible combinations to make 10 are 1-4-5, 1-3-6, or 1-2-7; a 4 cannot be in either of the bottom two rows. I'm not sure what help that is, but it's something.
