I can't play any puzzles! When I open them I get error 2134 in the pop up window. Can anyone help me please? Details below...

1. operating system Windows xp
2. browser Internet Explorer 7.0
3. Flash Player version 10,0,12,36
4. Reference screenshot - same, mine is just slightly larger.
5. If the page under question 4 appears properly, click on the “Play” red ellipse on the upper puzzle. Does the new window opens up allowing you to play the puzzle?

Error message on pop up screen:

Error 2134 means that there has been an error reading/writing the flash cookies (a.k.a SharedObjects) which are either disabled or corrupted. The best thing to do is clear all flash cookies related to conceptispuzzles.com. Please follow these instructions to clear the cookies:

1. Browse to http://www.conceptispuzzles.com/index.aspx?uri=puzzle/link-a-pix or any other page on the Puzzles section
2. Right-Click mouse button on the large Flash viewer on the top of the page
3. Select "Settings..."
4. Select the 2nd tab labeled "Local storage"
5. Set the slider to 'None'
6. Select "OK" and "Close"
7. Go Over steps 2-4 again
8. Set the slider to 100kb
9. Click "Close" button

Please notice clearing the cookies will reset all players preferences and all locally saved puzzles (within the Puzzles section as well as stories etc.)

Partially worked. Mac OS 10.6.8, Firefox 12. Followed the parallel instructions (I think) from the Forum below.

I downloaded the Adobe Flash Uninstall:

Closed Firefox, ran the Uninstall program. Restart.
Downloaded Flash Install:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/completion/?installer=Flash_Player_11_for_Mac_OS_X_10.6_-_10.8
Ran it, Restart.
Went to System Preferences, Flash Player "Plug-in version 11.5.502.136 is installed."
Checked Allow sites to save information on this computer.
There is no checkbox for how much storage can be used.
Clicked on Delete All. Quit Firefox, Launched Firefox.

Went here and played demo game successfully: http://www.conceptispuzzles.com/index.aspx?uri=puzzle/sudoku
But when I went to my normal access site using Firefox 12, http://www.seattlepi.com/puzzles/?content_name=sud_classic , I got the 2134 error code again. Same site worked using Safari.

So there is some problem with Firefox 12.

Firefox 17 for Mac works fine.

Hi guys
I am getting an error message, using Firefox 17, and Windows Vista, the message is "you are not allowed to play this puzzle or the puzzle URL is incorrect".

I notice the website had a redesign since yesterday. Since then it is loading each page incredibly slowly (dial up like speed, 1-2 graphics (like icons, buttons, etc) loading per second.

It is not my browser or ISP, as other website are fine.

Can the mods or techies explain what has happened to your website? It is not an improvement, and I cannot pay for puzzles that I have already paid for (saved puzzles)

Hi marvingar

This might happen when trying to open a puzzle by bookmarked URL while not being logged in, or while being logged in with a different username who does not own this puzzle. This might also happen when a user bookmarks a free puzzle and then tries to open it after it stopped being free. Can you provide more information how you are trying to open the puzzle and which puzzle ID it is?
