Birgit,
I'm sure that this is not going to be the last person to ask you to send them the .lmf files. If it starts to bother you, tell me and I'll take care of it since I now have them.

Hi out there,

there's a new Bugfix update for the current 0.91 online. See the included text file for description of changes, e.g. colors of JMP files are loaded correctly, now.

The next version will be a major update with the new saving strategy, I think. So stay tuned...

Birgit,
Not a problem at all. Any time someone on here asks for them, I'll take care of sending them, you don't need to worry about it.

Does the file name of the Bugfix end with .htm? I usually open the link in another page "Open in new window", and it automatically downloads from there. "Save target as" command usually just downloads junk.

No, Marlene, it doesn't have .htm. When I put my cursor on it, the address is http://www.pizelgames.de/picpuz/PicPuz0.91Bugfix2.zip When it goes into my downloads it shows 0kbsize. When I try to open in new window, a window opens up but it is blank.

I would also be very interested in any .lmf or .pdf files that some kind soul would send my way. I started with the .pdf's in mid December and have no .lmf's.

TIA

Ooops,

Your program wouldn't be working on Linux, would it?

Thanks,

Anity,

no, sorry, since I wrote it in Visual Basic it does only run on Windows machines. On Linux/Unix or other non-Windows-systems you have to use the Conceptis Java Applet.

Brady and Jackie...
Puzzles are on their way, should be there by now. Sorry about the delay.

To anyone else: I forgot to download last weeks puzzles. I don't care so much about the MAPs, but could anyone send me the PAPs, LAPs, and FAPs, preferably compatible with Oops' program. THanks a lot!

On that note, I forgot to download the ones with Ooop's program for the last TWO weeks. I got this week's so I wouldn't forget, but I also need a kind soul. I'm also missing select weeks from last year, so I have to research those again.

And yes, I have e-mails to send, myself. I've been busy, so sue me. I'll get to them.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah,

Marlene, I got the email, unzipped the file but the only thing in it was a text document from Ooops explaining what this new bugfix repairs in his old program.
In anticipation, I deleted PicPuz.exe, so I will have to go back and find the original and redownload it. I seem to like to make work for myself.
But thanks for trying.

Hi Mobleemom,

Could the problem be your security settings? It sounds to me like you're unable to download exe files, since you did receive the accompanying text file. Maybe you should check your internet security settings, and if they are set to 'high' (or something) set them lower. Hope this will help. If it doesn't help, let me know, then we can try fooling Windows by changing the extension, masking it as for example a .txt file. After you receive it and save it to your computer you change back the extension to .exe and voila!
That used to work with older versions of Windows (haven't tried it lately) so maybe that'll do the trick...

Marlies
