Hello, it's me!

There and back again. Finally I found some setups and - just more important - time to fix some PicPuz issues pending.
I needed to not only fix some known bugs and that WebLoader thing, but to figure out some strange behaviour of the project source files in my new development environment. I'm not sure if I managed all correctly, so I will leave the well-known link to the 0.99 setup as it is.

Instead, I will link an additional setup package named PicPuz_0.99.59_Setup.zip.
Please check if anything is okay and let me know (especially concerning the WebLoader, which now functions a bit different under the surface).

When it works overall, I plan at last (*sigh*) to introduce some puzzle database into the program so you can manage your puzzles more comfortably.

Liduin, I am planning not to update my PicPuzWeeklies-folder every week since I don't have to get them by e-mail anymore. I'll update the PuzzleArchive at the end of every month. But if someone has missed some puzzles I'll be glad to send them.

Liduin, if you did not choose another directory, they are in C:/Program Files/PicPuz

PicPuz remembers the location where to store the loaded puzzles in the registry. So when you uninstall or delete PicPuz, the Registry Setting(s) with the download directory is not deleted. After re-installing PicPuz it reads those settings again and uses them, though you didn't renew them.
It could be (I didn't test it yet) that downloading new puzzles might result in no new puzzle files when the formerlly set up directory no longer exist. Perhaps this was what went wrong at yours?

Thanks Ooops, I'll try with the next week puzzles.
I'll inform all of you of the result.

Of course since I'll be also in holidays in August I'll need some help to keep updated.

Ooops, I am not sure if I did understand your explanation right, but I disagree. I did not remove the old one. I installed the new one and it chose the C:/Program Files/PicPuz and not the old one I used (I forgot tho change directory at that point)

Ooops,

Thanks for the update. I installed the new version, downloaded the week's puzzles and worked a puzzle. Everything appears to work fine.

Ooops,

I had, like Leena, installed the new version of PicPuz without uninstalling the old one. It showed the new puzzles being downloaded to its destination folder, which I had not changed from the previous version. However, I forgot I changed the location of this folder, so I did NOT have the puzzles in that location or anywhere else (so, I think this can be your test). I have directed the loader to the location of that folder, though.
