The yellow 3 on line 3 - cannot start in column 1 nor end at column 9 or 10: no yellow on that column - cannot start at column 6 and end at column 8, because they must be doubled to line 4 and then there isn't a yellow 3 on that line - cannot start at column 2 and end at column 4, because then the yellow 1 on line 2 has no place left on line 2 (line 3 is not doubled and if the yellow 1 in line 2 is placed in column 5 it must be doubled. Ergo: Line 3, column 5 is a yellow. Don't know if this helps but it leads you further :) (I did Put it in an Excel sheet and saw some following solutions coming up)

Hello Rocojo! Thank you very much! I understand your thoughts. And I could solve the puzzle further. But I am stuck again. I think, the puzzle is too difficult for me. But I can not understand: The puzzle is declared as "ultra easy". Is this really ultra easy? If yes, then I am ultra stupid. :-(

The difficulty levels of Pic-a-Pix, as all other Conceptis puzzles, are rated on a relative basis. This 10x10 puzzle might have some not-so-easy solving steps but it is still much, much, much easier compared to a very hard mega puzzle sized 120x80. Thanks, Dave

I already were afraid for this answer: As you say the (combination of) techniques to use for a small PAP maybe much harder than for a large PAP. I know that PAP's can be rated by the count of steps via the Single Line Solving Method and I think it's a much better way of rating the difficulty level (especially if you set it out to the size of the PAP).
