Has anyone else ever solved a Hashi but your answer doesn't match the one they have?

usually that means you do have an error - like two separate groups of bridges, NOT connected to each other. Or sometimes in larger hashis, you think it's done, but you've missed just one bridge.

Can you post a screen shot?

I hope the picture came through. I looked at all the connections and they seem to work.

Hi,

please see the red circled region below, these 3 islands are isolated (have no connection to the others) which is not allowed.

Thanks,
Jochen

There are even more. I counted 5 separate regions.

So you should be able to go to all the islands no matter which one you start on?

And, Leena, what other ones are wrong?

Yes,the completed puzzle has to be a connected graph (math). Every point has to be accessible from any other point. Mathematical graphs usually have only one connection between two points but here two connections are allowed.

Here are the separate parts. They should all be connected.

Wow, thanks,Leena. Your color coding made it so obvious. I had one a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure that is the same problem. After having it happen twice, I decided I better write. Thanks to those of you who responded.

when you play online, when you click on any number, and hold the button down, it will show you all the bridges & connections for that number/circle.

It's a good way to check, while you are solving, to make sure you don't have disconnected sections like this.
