My puzzles aren't saving today... I've done some battleships & hashi. They show as saved or solved, but when I refresh the page it's like I haven't done any of them at all.
Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble too?

I had the same sad experience yesterday. I lost 2 hours on a "very hard" Pic a Pix.

2 days ago I had another sad experience where a saved pic a pix dissapeared. In that case I thought it was because I had'nt finished before the new ones came up friday.

I must know if I can trust the saved games.

1-2 month ago I made 2 big picapix over several days without saving troubles.

Yours Emil

These kind of save problems, which happen due of the content updating on Fridays, will not occur anymore after we launch the paid website next week. Once you buy a puzzle it will be yours for as long as this website exists and you will be able to play, save, restore and replay it anytime and as many times as you want.

Thanks, Dave

My partially done puzzles aren't saving at the moment (calcudoku, hashi). They're reverting back to older saved versions. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, me too, my mega-LAP (coloured, this week) isn't saving also ...

MAC OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 / Safari 4.0.3 (just in case this information is necessary)

I have no problems and I can save all these mentioned puzzles.
It can only take some time (up to almost 10 seconds) before it's done. Did you check to wait a little if it's done after a while (before proceeding or shutting down the application?
This delay in saving is probably related to the fact that the site is not yet back at its desired, normal speed.

Thanks,
Jochen

I'm also using Mac OS X but with Firefox.

I didn't have trouble saving this morning, even though the system is slow, but I had trouble saving when I sent the post. (I haven't tried since then).

I'll wait a little longer and see what happens.

Repeated save trouble here too. I'm seeing it in Hashi and Slitherlink.

I have the same problem but only with the puzzles I have bought. That's really annoying, I mean I buy them to be sure that they are saved. I hope you can fix this soon.
PS: I have never experienced any problems with saving puzzles so far.

We are looking into these save problems, but it might take time since we can't reproduce them ourselves. We suspect the problem might have something to do with internet connection lags. If you still have problems, try waiting several seconds after you save a puzzle or after the Congratulations pops up before you close the Flash window.

Please let us know if this helps... it will help us solve the problem.

Thanks, Dave

It's not an issue at the moment -- I've also been waiting a little longer before closing a puzzle after saving, just in case.

The problem with 'disappearing' saved puzzles is most likely due to your browser's file cache. When you reopen a puzzle, the browser is most likely picking up the cached file instead of reloading from the Conceptis server. A solution is to clear the locally cached files. Depending on your browser, the option is 'Delete Temporary Internet Files' or 'Empty Disk Cache.' Once you do this, the saved puzzle should load properly.

I have experienced the same problem and found that clearing the cache resolved the problem.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.

This didn't work for me; nor did switching to another browser. It's REALLY frustrating to lose several hours of work; even more so now that you're charging. I don't mind paying a small fee to play, but I do mind having to do the same part twice. I'm far less likely to complain about a free app.

This seems to be intermittent. The last couple days I could save my puzzles, but just now I lost a chunk of a link-a-pix -- said "save" and I closed it (maybe too soon?), and the save is gone.

These days this problem come up so often. I think it could be because high load in the server (site works slow) or something relating to changes in the site.

You can workarround saving puzzle and refresh the preview puzzles. Sometimes go back and reenter in the type of puzzle. Isn't save save now, even if you solve the puzzle

May be the site doesn't works as well than we like, but now it's like i discover this site, a lot of new puzzles waiting to be solved.
