Perhaps not all are familiar with the outdoor recreational game of Geocaching (http://www.geocaching.com). Geocaching involves someone hiding a container full of tradable items (nothing dangerous), and then posting coordinates to the container on the Geocaching official website. Seekers then can download the coordinates to the cache and seek it out.

There are several different categories that a geocache can be listed under. One is the unknown cache. This type of cache usually involves some sort of puzzle that needs to be solved in order to find the cache.

Through my geocaching adventures, I have had to solve a variety of puzzles. Some have involved Sudoku and KenKen (Calcudoku). Does anyone else on this forum geocache, and if so, have you encountered any other types of logic puzzles that are featured on the Conceptis website?

My wife and I have been active geocachers for eight years, and have encountered a number of puzzles, some of which are offered here, but most not.  We had a five-part Sudoku-based puzzle cache a couple of years ago; had to archive it and never re-did it, but might.  I've seen mazes in a couple of caches: solve the maze, and the coords are the numbers you passed over, in order.  We also saw a clever one that was a PAP-style puzzle, where the solution was the coords.  Kakuro (Cross-Sums) has been used for several caches, as well.  We live in Southern California, and with so many cachers, and such a large area to "play" in, the number and variety of puzzle caches is pretty high
