I wonder if it will turn out to be a version of KenKen? Have you had a go at it? There are a couple of puzzles on the Times online puzzle section everyday. Since seeing it there, I have seen it pop up under slightly different names on various puzzle sites. Just a thought.

It will be the same like Kenken, for some "weird" copyright reasons regarding the term "KenKen", we decided to name it a bit differently [;)]
Also, KenDoku indicates quite well the relatedness to (Sum)Sudoku.

I found some KenKen puzzles browsing the Internet. Does anyone have a Times archive?
If allowed, I may post some samples I found here via a eSnips link.

KenKen's are available if you go to timesonline.co.uk and search kenken. also i got many free KenKen's at http://kenken.com. Not sure about kendoku as a name--it seems it should be sudoku with math, not a copy of kenken.

Hi! Currently I, too, am looking for KenKen puzzles. Today I found, thanks to Wikipedia, two good links. http://www.minuplu.com http://www.djape.net I hope you like it. I do. Daniel

Y'all, come to http://forums.sudexel.com for discussion of this subject. I think KenKen is futoshiki-like in its numbering patern, and kendoku is non-futoshiki-like in its numbering pattern.

No, not at all! Our KenDoku is exactly like KenKen as I wrote above.
