just wondered if anyone heard of Kenken uzzles and any sites that do them or if this site intends to start them

nikkilr -> RE: kenken puzzles (10/31/2008 3:32:58 PM)

I am not familiar with a lot of new puzzles so i went to see what Kenken is. I think maybe what you are talking about is found under the Soduko link as one of the Irregular Sodukos. Maybe.......

Looks like KenKen is a new puzzle - at first glance, similar to SumSudoku.  I'm looking forward to seeing them added to the puzzles here - REAL soon!  [:D]

Looks like Conceptis will call them KenDuko

If you go to here at Conceptis, there are no sample puzzles yet, but if you click on "rules" (upper left) you will see what the three types of KenDuko puzzles look like & see how to solve.

The fact that this much is already on the site makes me think they are VERY close to launching samples, then right after that, weekly puzzles.  Woohoo!

Hi Sha,

everything you say is absolutely right! [:)]

wolfhunt -> RE: kenken puzzles (11/1/2008 1:38:54 AM)

I just picked up a book of these (under the KenKen name) and have become addicted to them. I can't wait for them to appear on the Conceptis weekly puzzles.

Anyone know if the kenken/kendoku/calcudoku puzzles will be set up for online play instead of just printing?

dave -> RE: kenken puzzles (1/10/2009 9:53:37 PM)

Hi tarendrake

Conceptis is now developing the interactive version of CalcuDoku. Like all our online games, CalcuDoku Interactive will include several helpful gaming features which will make it a lot of fun to play. Some of these features will be similar to what we provide in Kakuro Interactive.

Thanks, Dave

Just a quick note here; the link indicates that the copyright holder went after them and insisted they change their name.  It's now instead.

The site tells you that, but in case the domain ceases to exist, there you go. [:)]

Also, New York Times link is now apparently
